Since being certified as a Therapy Dog, Ingrid's mission has always been two fold: (a) visit with as many people as possible to share her gifts and the ability to bring happiness, comfort and destress those she meets and (b) to advocate for the benefits of Pet Therapy. Ingrid has been officially recognized for the quality and quantity of her visits throughout her journey. She has won awards and accolades at the national, state, county and local level(see below). Ingrid is also the first dog to be a member of the Chester County Suicide Prevention Task Force and the first dog to be a member of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce. We are thankful and humbled to have been selected for these honors.
